We decided to drive along the west shore of South Hero today just for fun.  It was such a beautiful day. When we reached the Bird House Forest, I had to get out of the car to get a closer look. That’s when I spotted the dinosaurs! They’re a recent addition to this eclectic forest already covered in brightly colored bird houses.

The bird houses were originally added to attract tree swallows because tree swallows eat mosquitoes! Over the years, the owners have added 100’s of  bird houses. Either by car or by bicycle, you’ll have to stop and walk along the road until you find these new forest creatures.
